Separate complex materials without crushing them blindly.

XCRUSHER develops high-power pulsed technologies to liberate materials at their interfaces: membranes, bitumen, composites, e-waste, technical polymers and complex assemblies.

Grinding reduces size. It does not guarantee separation.

Modern industrial materials are multilayered, reinforced, bonded, filled, composite or conductive. Reducing them into smaller particles is not always enough to recover their value. The finer the grinding, the higher the energy demand, the more fines are generated and the more fractions become contaminated.

XCRUSHER targets interfaces before value is lost.

Act at the interfaces instead of destroying the whole material.

XCRUSHER uses high-power pulses to generate a short and intense physical event in a controlled medium. The objective is not to grind finer. The objective is to liberate more precisely.

XCR / FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does XCRUSHER do?
XCRUSHER is a French industrial company developing a pulsed-energy platform to fragment, separate, and transform composite materials. Its purpose is to recover strategic materials from complex flows that mechanical grinding does not handle correctly.
What is XCRUSHER's technological specificity?
Instead of grinding matter, XCRUSHER activates it. High-energy impulses cross the composite and exploit its internal physical contrasts — electrical conductivity, density, fragility — to release each constituent at its natural interface. Materials are separated without being mechanically crushed, heated, or chemically attacked.
Where is XCRUSHER located?
XCRUSHER SAS is a French industrial company. It is headquartered in Strasbourg and operates sites in Val-de-Reuil and the Île-de-France region.
